Hobbies & Special Interest: I’m a voracious reader, especially of scientific non-fiction and literary memoir. I love to hike, bike, camp and road-trip throughout the Pacific Northwest. I used to write restaurant reviews for the now-defunct Local Planet, but gluten intolerance has put an end to my omnivorous ways. In my spare time, I crochet re-usable shopping bags, make jam, and build elaborate birthday cakes for my nieces and nephews.
