Alumni Association

**Another volunteer opportunity !

Two of the Youth Leadership Spokane Class of 2009 are looking for mentors.  Can you help? Please contact the office if interested.

The areas of interest are
1.  one student is doing her senior project on animal psychology
2.  one student is considering a career in social work, preferably in a school setting

Leadership Spokane Graduation is over and the Class of 2009 eagerly waits to begin their journey in the fall .  I am excited about being the Program Committee Chair for 2008!

Kim Krogh did a fantastic job as former Program Committee Chair and left some pretty big shoes to fill.  With your help, I know we can put together an awesome curriculum for the next class.

One of the great things about Leadership Spokane is that the program is dynamic in nature and thus is very responsive to our ever changing community.

Looking for a way to serve the community?  Want to stay involved with Leadership Spokane? Want to have input into next year’s program?

Then join the program committee!  There are several ways to serve depending on your schedule and time available.

Send me your contact information and I will let you know when and where our first meeting will be (usually a ½ day planning retreat mid-July.)

I look forward to working with you on the 2009 Program Committee!

The Leadership Spokane Alumni Association builds and fosters a legacy of leadership in the Spokane area and the Inland Northwest to strengthen our communities. The association is supported by an active Alumni Association Board who work to support Leadership Spokane programs and provides a forum for continued education, networking and community involvement.

The ongoing financial and volunteer support of our alumni is critical to our success. There are no dues for membership in the Alumni Association. We hope that all of our alumni will be inspired to contribute as donors, volunteers and advocates. Benefits to being an active member of the alumni association, include:

  • Contributing to our leadership community.
  • Learning about employment and volunteer service opportunities in the Inland Northwest
  • Attending Leadership Spokane Alumni events
  • Networking with other alumni and leaders in Spokane.

An alumni survey is coming soon! Meanwhile, email us your feedback and ideas for the Alumni Association.
